Every year, The Daily Progress asks readers to vote for their favorite local establishments, services, and attractions. We were fortunate to be chosen as “Favorite Optometrist” in both 2011 and 2012 and are hoping to be granted that honor again this year.
Please click here to vote for Crozet Eye Care/Dr. Shannon Franklin in 2013. Thank you so much for your support!

What do we love about Silhouettes?

As many of you know, Dr. Quesenberry joined our team last September. He was sharing his time between Crozet Eye Care and an optometrist’s office in Lynchburg. Recently, that optometrist offered him a full-time position to help expand to a second practice in Bedford, which he accepted. This is a very exciting endeavor for him, and we wish him the best. On behalf of our staff and our patients, I want to thank Dr. Quesenberry for his service here.
This change in staffing willl just temporarily affect our appointment hours. I am seeing patients on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. I am not in the office on Wednesdays; however, our office is open should you need the services of Anne or Michelle for glasses or contacts, or just to stop by to browse our Optical Shop.
Thanks again, Dr. Quesenberry. And, good luck!

If you need or currently wear contacts, something to consider is monthly vs. daily lenses. While some patients prefer monthly contacts – mainly due to the perceived costs associated with dailies – there are several reasons why daily contacts are the better choice.

We wanted to do something fun for patients in celebration of Easter being right around the corner. We have plastic eggs filled with prizes, such as:
Monday 9-5
Tuesday 9-6
Wednesday 9-5
Thursday 9-6
Friday 9-5
