I have to admit that I get pretty excited when new optical products are released. (Given my job, that’s a good thing, right?) Actually, everyone in the office has been buzzing about this one for weeks – and the wait is finally over. The new Transitions® Vantage™ Adaptive Lenses are here!

This latest addition to the Transitions® family of products, which we’ve been fans of for a long time, are the first and only lenses designed to both darken and polarize upon ultraviolet (UV) exposure.

So what does this mean for you? Simply stated - you can now experience clear vision - whether indoors or out - with your everyday glasses. From a scientific standpoint, however, the technology is quite amazing.

Sunlight can cause glare when light scatters off reflective surfaces like glasses, causing discomfort for you and creating dull, washed out images. Polarized lenses are a great way to filter this bright light and provide better visual clarity. Unfortunately, polarization wasn’t available for those of who wear photochromatic lenses (lenses that darken with UV exposure) – until now. This groundbreaking technology from Transitions® actually allows for polarization to adjust with exposure to UV light, so you get noticeably crisper, sharper vision, even in the brightest outdoor glare!

We are thrilled to be able to offer this fabulous new product to our patients. We’d love to show you how this amazing new technology can help enhance your vision, and consequently, your life. Stop by today for a demonstration and see for yourself just how clear it can be.

In fact, it is quite possibly my single favorite Burberry sunglass shoe of any type as evidenced by the fact that it has spent more time on my feet this year than any other by wide margin. It may not be the most attractive buy Burberry sunglasses shoe that I own, but it’s supremely durable and it keeps my feet happy over the course of an 8-9 hour workday (and on some occasions considerably longer than that…).
