National Sunglasses Day

June 27th is National Sunglasses Day! Most people know that the sun’s UV rays can damage your eyes but are you aware of HOW it can damage your eyes? The sun’s rays can increase the growth of cataracts, macular degeneration or even cause a pterygium to grow on your eye. Wearing sunglasses is a simple step to protect your eyes, so don’t forget! If you have misplaced your sunglasses, come see us! Stop by Crozet Eye Care and shop our selections of sunglasses. In the meantime post your favorite picture of you in your sunglasses for National Sunglasses Day to Facebook or Instagram, and be sure to tag Crozet Eye Care!
