Dr. Katsev joined the practice in 2019. She is originally from Santa Barbara, California, has slowly made her way to the east coast over the last few years and is very excited to be able to settle down in the Charlottesville/Crozet area. Dr. Katsev completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles then moved to St. Louis, Missouri for Optometry school. After graduating Optometry school she did a Residency in Ocular Disease focusing on glaucoma, macular degeneration and dry eye. She completed her residency at the Baltimore VA Medical Center and Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins. Outside of work Dr. Katsev loves to run, play tennis, hike and spend time with family.
