Three members of our Crozet Eye Care team – Anne, Michelle, and Ellie – have recently passed their Certified Paraoptometric exams.

Paraoptometrics are eye care professionals who assist optometrists in providing a higher level of vision care to patients. Paraoptometrics extend the optometrist’s capabilities by performing some of the routine and technical aspects of vision care services, much in the same way that paralegals do for lawyers.

The Certified Paraoptometric exams are rigorous tests of the professionals’ knowledge, and we here at Crozet Eye Care are proud of our colleagues’ efforts.
