Doctor Of Optometry

After receiving her undergraduate degree in Biology from Old Dominion University, Dr. Robinson moved to New York City to further her education and complete her clinical training at the State University of New York (SUNY) where she received her Doctorate of Optometry.

Her training and special interests include the treatment and management of ocular disease such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration, pre and post op cataract surgery care, dry eye syndrome, and contact lenses (soft and rigid gas permeable/scleral lenses). She also has practiced and co-managed with multiple ophthalmologists who specialized in cataracts, refractive surgery, corneal, and retinal disease.

Newer to Charlottesville, Dr. Robinson enjoys exploring the area, traveling/adventuring, and snowboarding. She and her husband look forward to getting a dog in the future and the three of them traveling around to all the amazing breweries and wineries the town has to offer.
